I took a chance on this, but it worked relatively well I bought the little converters that plug-in to the cable, no extra electricity needed picked up 22 digital stations, the only regret for this object which is not a regret, is that I had to create my own stand.

I recently lost the ability to pick up my favorite channel. After weeks and multiple antenna purchases, my mom suggested an old fashioned style rabbit ear antenna. I did not like having to purchase the connector separately but once I had that, this antenna did the trick! All channels come in clearly including my favorite that was missing for weeks. The newer style antennas promise a lot but they don’t deliver. Even with paid shipping, this antenna is a bargain and the connector (came in a two pack) is very cheap. The only thing that was wrong with the antenna was . The wire was not long enough to reach the screws that it needed to be hooked on. This is why I had to send it back.

Oh my gosh, this works so much better than the $40 flat panel antenna I was using. I’m getting more channels and it doesn’t freeze up like the much more expensive one did. There’s no where to attach it to the back of the tv so I put it in a tall narrow drinking glass and voilà, it works!! Old school is sometimes the best choice. Don’t forget to order the little plug it attaches to and plugs into the antenna socket. ... show more
