I have had this book for 10 years. It is the best! It has proved to be invaluable to me when conventional veterinarian medicine did not work. I would like to say that it has saved the life of more than one of my cats. My 14 year old male cat has more life and kick than my 8 year old cats. He has a history of arthritis, hyperthyroidism and cardiomyopathy. The remedies in this book most certainly saved his life! Recently, my 2 year old cat was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis. The vet put a toe tag on her and said she wouldn't survive long without a blood transfusion. It is interesting to see remedies that can be tried, when circumstances allow, rather than a dash to the vet with a highly nervous cat. The book is well laid out and the remedies carefully explained. Definitely a book to consult and keep to hand. I would recommend it to cat owners/lovers.

We purchased the cat version but I flipped to a section, on page 167 and it talks about putting garlic into your dogs food. But this is the cat book.
