First off, these tights are so soft and feel so good. They are fleeced inside and it’s so warm. These are great quality stockings and I am so excited to have these for NY winter. They fit very comfortably. The investment is definitely worth it. Yes yes yes.

This review is for the chocolate brown L/XL tights. I'm a solid size US-10 and 5'3 and these tights are sooooo comfy. They're slightly too big but as I'm short that's to be expected. The waist sits exactly at my natural waist, over my pooch without rolling at all no matter how I move. I flux between (rarely) 8-10-12 and the fit will never be a problem. Like I said, I like them bigger, so I can see these just as easily being comfortable on a 14-16 (perhaps a little tight on a 16). Above that I'm not sure about the comfort but they would still stretch, I think. They do have a lot stretch but not in that cheap go-on-forever way that feels a bit creepy. Material is super comfy. They're polyester which I love because I shrink everything else no matter what I do. They are fleeced inside (at least mine are) like a lighter version of sweats. No where near impenetrable (hence the title) but for my mileage that's a good thing because they still breathe. I doubt they'd be any match for an icy Michigan winter gale. The best part is the seller directly emailed me the same day my tights arrived with care instructions and what to expect. I imagine those that complained in other reviews didn't read this. In a nutshell: cold gentle machine wash, air dry recommended but can be machine dried on lowest setting possible. They become softer with wash and they look like they shrink after the first wash but they don't. As I'm on a fixed income I don't have a lot of money to throw around, but next month I plan on getting more, until I have every color. This extends my summer wardrobe into the entire winter (central/northern FL) and they feel quality enough to last me for next year when I move back up north...although in winter I may wear 2 pair until my blood thickens. I love that these tights are 100% opaque and super cozy. They're a bit too long (I'm 5'3"), but I had to wear them for a function the night they arrived, so I hitched up the extra fabric and was pleased to find it pretty well stayed in place for the entire time I wore them. Even if I didn't have an immediate need for them, I still would have kept them because there is no smaller size (only 2 options) and I can't find anything even remotely similar locally. When I washed them, I put them in a lingerie bag and then allowed to air dry, and they came out beautifully. I was impressed with the inclusion of detailed instructions followed by an email, which shows the company's obvious dedication to customer satisfaction. ETA: I also ordered a 2-pack of the "nude" tights. The only way the color of these tights is nude is if you're Daisy Duck. As stated above, they're very high quality and warm, but they are noticeably yellow. ... show more

These are great tights: they're warm, look very sleek on the leg, and are comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the color for the "nude" tights: they are almost yellow and very hard to match with anything. They're really only good as an under-layer. The Fleece lined tights arrived promptly and very well packaged. They are very well made and extremely comfortable . I am petite height 5'3", 118 lbs and usually the waste of the tights ends up under my breasts, not these. I ordered the sm-med and the are perfect. Warm enough, but not bulky and still flattering to your legs. I highly recommend them I live in a very cold climate in Winter and now I can wear skirts and dresses w/o freezing. I struggle with finding tights that don’t cut into my waist. I used to be more tolerant but now can’t stand anything real tight. These are perfect. I can wear them all day without pinching. They are of great quality and softness and provide the right amount of warmth for Texas winters. I’ve bought 4 pairs so far and will most likely get more. I am a tights afficionado, and these are my favorite fleece-lined tights I've ever tried! The fleece is thin enough to avoid bulk, but still keeps you warm. (I find these ideal for temps down to freezing or just below. They're also nice when you want to be warm outside but not overheat indoors.) The outer side of the tights feels and looks plush, like high-quality opaque tights. Some fleece tights feel too tight in the toes or the bum, but not these. They're very comfortable and feel very luxe to wear, and they hold up well over time, with less pilling than most other brands. I ordered the Small-Medium in black. These came just in time for the frigid weather hitting us today. They fit me perfect for my 5'6" 135 pound frame. I am wearing them right now, they are so comfortable and soft and warm. I tried one pair to see how I'd like them, and very soon will be purchasing more. I didn't even know they made fleece-lined tights! Just happened across them and so glad I did. Thank you, reviewers for helping me to make my decision to go with this brand! I always read all reviews before making purchases. I have not laundered them yet, but plan to put them in a laundry bag on delicate cycle or handwash cycle using cold water.
