This top being sleeveless and kind of slinky, it goes perfectly under the heavier garment. The fabric is stretchy -- you can safely order down a size. Color looks exact. Could have gone down a size as the arm hole is just barely a tad big but I have that problem with a lot of sleeveless shirts. Will see what happens when it goes in the dryer. The neck is a fold down style not a mock.

Love this little turtleneck and got it in three colors. I don’t like tight fitting tops so I typically prefer a medium in knit fabrics. I sized up to a large to get the fit that I wanted - something that hit right at the hips (not cropped but not long), something that didn’t have to be tucked in or worn with a belt. The shirt is cute. I usually wear a small but I ordered it in medium and I feel I could have gone with a large. Also, the neck is real loose. I like a tighter turtleneck. But, I think I will order it in black.
