Bought this for my mother as a gift and she loves it!! Perfect size and zippered compartments are a plus! The colors are very vibrant and the pattern is nice. Shoulder straps appear to be thick and sturdy. My only issue is that this bag varies in price often and goes out of stock quickly which is unfortunate. A week after I purchased the price dropped by $10. It wasn't worth the hassle of returning and repurchasing but just something to be aware of. This is the perfect smaller tote bag that is so lightweight and perfect as a purse. I love all the separate inner pockets that can make finding lipstick, a small water bottle , and anything else us gals need! It's also great to carry my hubby's doodads too. Love the rich red color!

I'm keeping the bag because I like the pattern, price was great and bag is good enough. That said Vera bags are usually better than good. Always a top quality product. Another reviewer mentioned that the bottom doesn't lay as flat as in the older models of the Vera Tote and it is true. The price was a lot lower than on the VB website so I am wondering if this is a factory second or what? The interior seems to be polyester instead of cotton but that might be a plus. Easier to wipe up any spills inside the bag rather than have to wash the whole thing. I like the size, not too big cause I tend to overpack if given the room and yet it is roomy enough for what I actually need. Loads of interior pockets for organizing my stuff. Front zip pocket will hold keys, a lipstick or maybe a card case but not a full size wallet. Front slip pocket would hold coupons or just the little odds and ends you pick up during the day and have to stuff somewhere. The back slip pocket is the right size for holding a phone. I like the way the back slip pocket is designed. Almost a hidden pocket. I would give 5 stars except for the bottom issue. Like all Vera bags it holds a lot more than it looks like it should hold and it's lightweight and easy to carry. ... show more

I bought the red bag, it is so roomy and has multiple pockets, it zippers closed which I love. Great bag for traveling! I can fit my iPad and purse among other things. Love the bag
