Printed polyester lining. Zip closure. Close all zippers before laundering; machine wash cold, gentle cycle, only non-chlorine bleach when needed; line dry. I loved the colors in the plaid and the pockets inside and out. I was a little disappointed in the size. The description specifically says small but when the purse came it was more of a medium.
