I have about 8 Vera bags. This one is most definitely NOT a genuine Vera. It looks like it until you get up close. The zipper ties are not the same. Inside is lined with some sort of plastic not the beautiful fabrics you see with genuine VB. Sorry I bought it. I've been traveling and missed the return window. Paid alot for it. Don't be fooled.

The Good: the print is beautiful. The Bad: the overall quality is not equal to the previous VB bag that I purchased - it seems cheap and flimsy, especially for the high price. The Worst: the bag's strap suffers from a fatal design flaw. Instead of using a strap that is sewn to each side of the bag separately with a buckle on each side of the strap that can be manually adjusted to each side separately (as shown in the second photo that depicts the previous Vera Bradley bag that I purchased), the new bag slides the strap across the bag to "self adjust" based on how the bag hangs across the body. This results in buckling and sagging of the bag (as shown in the photo) such that the bag does not properly hang straight as it should or as it is shown in the photos on the website. I'm sending it back due to poor design and bad price to value ratio - i.e. not worth the price!!!!

Over the past 20 years I've purchased numerous Vera bags as gifts and for myself. This one was for me, but I returned it asap. The fabric is light weight and poor quality, although pattern was pretty. The bag is no longer quilted through to the inside; rather there is a cheap interior lining that doesn't seem like it would wear well. I have this same hipster bag in an older pattern (fall/winter colors) that remains in far superior condition after ten years and machine washings. Shame on Vera Bradley's leadership for diminishing its founder's legacy of quality bags at a great price point. Neither is true anymore.

This is definitely not a real Vera Bradley. I’m a nurse and use Vera for my nursing bag and I have many separate bags for all my supplies. I also have the tote bags and wallets. Been a big fan of this brand for years. The second I opened this package and saw it, I knew I had a fake bag on my hands. There’s a telltale quality that you get in a Vera Bradley bag that is nowhere to be seen in this. I paid $70+ for a fake that has no clear signature. The ribbons on the zippers had no signature, the inside typically has a leather tag near the inside pocket with a signature (wasn’t there), the tags were crumpled and lacking in several extra tags that I’ve come accustomed to seeing on my real Vera bags. The tags also look and feel fake. Different font and tag quality etc. The entire bag felt very cheap after my many soft and luxurious Vera bags….. And just to put it out there, I am not an old lady/Karen… I’m 29 y.o. and bought this bag to go on my honeymoon to Disney. Super disappointed that Amazon had the audacity to link this to an “official” Vera Bradley seller on their site and act like this is real when anyone can tell this is trash. Would have given no stars if that was possible. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra 10-15 bucks on the actual Vera Bradley website and buy yourself a quality bag.

2/11/2020 Update - I have purchased several Triple Zip Hipster bags. Loved all the others, which is why I keep buying different colors/patterns...but this one is NOT the same size, zippers, or quality of the other ones. This one is smaller (by an inch) on bottom width, the zippers are cheaper and don't move freely on the two zippers on the front of the bag, the top zipper is way too long...so they just left it hanging inside of the purse, the back exterior slip pocket isn't stitched across the top, and the material feels really stiff and not soft like my other Vera Bradley bags. Now, either VB's have greatly changed for the worst...or this bag is a counterfeit. Either way, it's a major disappointment and I'm immediately returning it. Things like this are really frustrating because we expect that when we buy a name brand product...that it BE a name brand product. Original Review: Pros: I love the size, the color/pattern (Rain Forest), and all the pockets. Zippers work smoothly. Love the hands free nature of crossbody bags and the versatility of being able to easily adjust the strap to make it a shoulder bag. This is a great travel or running errands bag. Price is crazy good...for a reason. Cons: just one - in order to sell these bags at such a crazy price, they’re skimping a little on materials. The strap is narrower than my older VB bags. This is my first VB bag that doesn’t have the coordinating pattern print for the interior and pocket linings...the new lining isn’t “bad” but it detracts from the quality and specialness of the overall bag. And outer material says cotton, but feels like a blend...and again, not as nice as the older bags. Overall, I do like bag due to the the positives listed above. But from this point on, I’ve learned for me, I need to really look for the older prints to be completely satisfied with my purchase.

I have been using Vera Bradley bags for years and just recently purchased the crossover bag for personal use. I still love all the colors and fabric designs but am disappointed in the quality. All previous bags were lined and this one is so thin you can actually see daylight thru the bottom when it is held up. There is no way this will last as long as my previous purchases which truly disappoints me as the cost continues to rise but not the workmanship.

I ordered this purse to use on a trip because my friends love them. It was delayed in the Prime delivery and literally arrived just as I was leaving. I put my things in it and later that day I was shocked to find a hole on an interior pocket. I emptied it back out and found a second hole. As this was the only purse I would have for 2 weeks, I have used it, but had to constantly check to make sure nothing had migrated through the holes and into the space between the lining and the purse. I really like how light it is and the fabric it is made of, but I won't order any others because their poor quality assurance doesn't make the purse worth the money. Once I buy some fray check I will make the necessary repairs, but for this price, I really shouldn't have to.
