Comfortable right out of the box. Lots of compliments on color and style. Would suggest if your feet swell or wide to size up. I’m a woman’s 9.5 and regret not getting a 10 off rip it pinches the pinky toe because of where the design comes together on the outside. Otherwise lightweight and trendy. (Doing the doc marten ice trick fixes the problem) just needs a good stretch first.

These are my second pair of these shoes. Specifically the mesh ones. They aren’t hard to break in. They are very comfortable. I do a lot of walking and climbing stairs. My first pair lasted me a good 2 1/2 years. I feel like I’m low balling that. The style of them is amazing. They aren’t heavy at all. I had to order these and based it off the size of the ones I had and the new ones fit amazingly. After the years of having my first pair, the mesh just started tearing away. I think paying the amount they are is worth every penny!! Imma show the difference between what my shoes look like (don’t judge lol)

These are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve worn in a long time! They are cute and well made, canvas with leather and suede accents. They have more arch support than my other VANS while still providing a firm cush for my feet. The soles also have good traction. The shoe laces are a bit thick and harder to tighten and loosen, but I am sure this will get easier as they break in. They do seem to run small because I had to size up a half size. All in all I love them!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love Vans ultra range! I’ve had many pairs over many years. Decided to try this model since they’re $30ish cheaper than the other ones I get. Just as cute and comfy. These shoes are GREAT for walking. I’ve done four days at Disney World in them with 20k step days without issue. I’ve traveled the world in them - lots of walking. Always comfy. These have a puffy tongue and the more expensive pair have a flat tongue. The puffy tongue doesn’t bother me but my husband doesn’t like how his pant leg gets caught in it. I always purchase white ultra range. I spray they with water proof spray and throw in the washing machine with my laundry as needed to keep them white. Love!

I wanted the basic checkered ones but they were sold out. I tried these instead but kinda regret it... My feet are a little weird, they're kinda flat but not. They're also kinda wide but not quite, they're in a weird zone where skate shoes are by far the most comfortable. Though these ARE Vans, they're not skate shoes and actually offer too much basic support for my weird feet. They cause my two middle left toes to dislocate for no apparent reason and it is horrifically painful. My right foot loves them. No other shoes make my left toes dislocate, only these ones. They are very grippy and offer good support, I've noticed they have good traction on wet manufacturing flooring. I keep wearing them for a reason, they're very nice shoes. It's just they dislocate my left toes and I don't understand why. I just pop them back in in the bathroom, they're just toes. Kinda wish I knew why this was happening though.😭 Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've had good history with Vans and hoped they had created an athletic shoe my feet would like.
