These are my first vans so I am no expert. These shoes are cute for fashion. I would wear them for long periods of time because they aren’t that comfortable. The tongue digs into the front of my foot. They have plenty of room in the toe and they are a little wide. There’s no arch support at all. I may buy a new insert that may help with the extra support. Vans always makes great sneakers, but these sharp looking gray and khaki ones are so nice! The suede is thick but not too thick. I can tell they will last a long time and will also be easy to clean if you use protecting spray. They are so very comfortable and I’m just a sucker for a gummy bottom. I especially enjoy them because they are made with enough width that you don’t need to size up. The price was a bit high but for the quality I would say it’s worth it.     • This style of Vans works for me
I recently determined that I need to wear "wide" option shoes. I forgot to order that on this pair but they still feel good, or at least okay. A few months ago my old, similar Vans wore out and I purchased some "old school" Vans that hurt so bad I only wore them twice, and they are like-new still in my closet. But I also needed a pair that looked a bit more "dressy." These not only work for the part, but this style feels so much better even in the standard fit.
