These seem to run a TINY bit small, but that always seems to happen when ordering shoes online-- they are hard to fit properly when you can't try them on first. I recommend people measure their feet and then choose a half size bigger than their indicated size. But they do fit me well enough, and with some breaking in, I believe they will be fine. The backs of these shoes, specifically the upper heel on the rim, scrapes the skin off the back of my heels. I've had this happen with 2 other Vans shoes in the past. They just ride up and scrape my heels. I have learned to make a shallow U shaped carving out of the heels so the thick, unbending rim of the heel doesn't scrape me anymore. Other than this minor issue, the shoes seem of high quality. All the Vans I have owned have always lasted me 1-3 years of daily use. I love skate shoes, especially Vans, because they are very durable and good in most kinds of weather, even the rain. I have even been able to use Vans in the snow and ice without slipping because the traction is so good. I am rating 4 stars!

These shoes are stylish yet comfortable to wear almost all day with minimal discomfort. I am a size 3 in kids' (5 in womens') with narrow feet and high arches. When I first received them, I was under the impression that I had ordered a half a size too small, even though I ordered my usual size (3). My toes felt squished and the rims of the shoes rubbed at my ankles. But after wearing them for about a week, they broke in nicely. I was able to walk around New York City in them all day, but ended up with some pain in my heels and the bottoms of my big toes. All in all, I would say these shoes are best for narrow feet with low arches and after breaking them in, they run true to size. I'd say they're best for everyday wear, but not for walking long distances. I would recommend them to a friend.

My seven year old is a skateboarding fanatic. And he has been wanting these shoes for a long time so he can be just like the big boys. He loves the shoes, but we were both a little disappointed a the fit. We had tried some in a different color in the store and hadn't noticed then that they were a little large wide. I debated just keeping them unitl he grew some more and getting another pair in the correct size but he was so excited he didn't want to wait. At the price I decided to just go ahead and let him have them anyway. they haven't caused blisters and he still loves them so everything was okay.

These are great, and I highly recommend them. It's been a while since I have seen theme in stores and don't really like what I have seen lately, so I bought these. Pros: They are somewhat loose but still fit very well. Look Great. After being broken in, they are comfortable enough to walk in them all day long. Durable, at least more durable than Converse, which I did buy a pair once and did not even last me a year before they were highly discolored, the fabric and rubber torn, and hurt my feet because they are narrow around the toes and have very thin soles. Cons: Authentics tend to rip in the back very easily from my experience Take a while to break in otherwise they hurt your feet after walking in them all day The laces get dirty very easily and I will change them out for a different color.

I may be a little biased in reviewing these, but I've been wearing these sneakers for years, just changing the color every couple years when it gets too worn out. I have pretty wide feet, but these are comfortable from the get-go; I don't have to suffer too much to break into them. They're very durable and have withstood multiple rough paths (rocks, dirt, trails), and though they may not provide much arch support, I'm personally not one to complain much about physical discomfort, so I was able to literally walk 14 miles in these shoes when I traveled abroad and not find any reason to blame the shoes for any kind of pain. As for aesthetics, I'm a sucker for minimal design, so these shoes - especially the solid color ones - are perfect.

So the shoes themselves adorable! Perfect cute vans. The sizing I’m so confused about. My 6 year old daughter is in a 13/1 little kids shoe. I ordered a 1 to be safe. These shoes are almost to the point she can’t wear them. They fit but like fit perfect. So my suggestion is to order one size up! So I should have gotten her a 2.
