I do not buy Vans for high levels of comfort - I buy them because I love the way they look with my outfits. I have a foot that, in shape, is broader toward the toe area, which makes Vans less comfortable on me than they probably are on a lot of people. However, I do not find these to be too tight, thought they do cause discomfort when wearing for long periods of walking. Overall, these are comfortable enough for me and I love the way they look.
