Description

Vans It was founded in California in 1966 by Paul Van Doren and three partners. She then produced the "Deck shoes" better known today under the label "Authentics". In the 70s the Vans were adopted by Californian skateboarders who appreciate these colourful, wear-resistant, sneakers with soles that stick to the grip of their boards. In 1975 Vans exploded with the release of the inevitable "Era" designed by skate stars Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta, then in 1979 with the release of the "Slip-on" developed in collaboration with riders from different horizons (skateboard/BMX). In the 1980s and 90s, Vans continued its expansion in snow and outdoor sports (wake boarding, surfing, motocross) sponsoring alternative sports events and the construction of skateparks in the USA. At the end of the 90s, Vans finally crossed the Atlantic to reach us with its iconic models: "Era", "Slip-on" and "Old Skool baskets".

This was a decent shoe. The all black color is nice. I wear a 10.5 in men’s; the shoe fit nice though it was a little wide by maybe half a centimeter. Like in other reviews I have experienced some small blisters on the very back of the ankle area. It’s not a horrible problem but it is something to think about when purchasing this shoe. Even considering this it is a very comfortable shoe. I wear it 8 to 14 hours a day and other than very small blisters there are no other issues with them. I would recommend it to a friend who wants a light, stylish and comfortable shoe that doesn’t cost that much. ... show more

These are the love of my life. I’ve worn them daily for the past 6 months and they are still holding up nicely. Will probably have to repurchase after a year of constant wear but that is an impressive amount of time for these shoes to last. I bought white rubber laces and use those so they are super easy to get on and off. I bike in these, have worked out, trudged through mud and snow and they have stayed fairly comfy and cute together through it all. Highly recommend for a good everyday casual shoe! ... show more
