More comfortable than the old Vans! Great shoe! They fit true to normal sneaker size or half size above dress shoe. The elastic gore is very snug but not in an uncomfortable way.

I like the design and I always like Vans. I generally have a size 12.5 but these are tight and I got them as a 13. Even at a 13 they are VERY tight so buy them half a size to a size up, depending on your feet. They are otherwise comfortable, a little bit of padding but not much.
