I wear a 9.5 or one size up depending on brand/style of foot wear. These fit perfectly - perhaps a little tight with a very thin 'no show' style sock and I mean like a glove fit. If you want to wear thicker style socks and you are between sizes like me, I'd go for the upper size. As for the quality, I was afraid these would be cheap knock offs or perhaps just low in quality, but they are very well made and the inside has very comfortable cushioning around the side and heel area. I bought a matching pair for me and my boyfriend and they were a tad big so I'd recommend half a size down or so because I still had quite a bit of room left. I got a 7.5 and an 11.5 but I'd definitely recommend them, they are adorable.

I got these for my 11 year old son, who still prefers Velcro shoes, but likes to look cool, like the other boys at the skate park. They fit great, and we’re not too tight like puffy sneakers can be.

I like canvas sneakers, but they're hard for me to find (I wear a size 16 narrow, so I have a weird foot). I usually wear Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars because they're the only ones I can lace tight enough for my narrow foot, but I dislike the "flip-flop" sound they make. I've tried old school Vans canvas shoes (too wide, still flip-flop) and Adidas (perfect width, dead silent, but just a half inch too short), and still haven't found the perfect black-and-white canvas sneaker that I want. These are the closest I've found. They're a little too wide, but not terrible. They make a little bit of the flip-flop sound, but not enough to be annoying in my tomb-like office hallways. The build quality seems to be of higher quality than Chucks, and they look really nice. There's not as much support as the Adidas, but more than the Chucks. Over all, they're not perfect but they'll be what I'm buying for the foreseeable future. ... show more
