The green is more subtle than the picture, in a good way. I wear these everywhere, and they’re really comfortable. They look great with jeans and khakis, and shorts and socks. Well made with a fantastic shade of green which goes with many of my pants. I love Vans distinctive stripe too. They fit well and they are comfortable with light padding around the ankle collar and the tongue that isn't as visible as the thick padding you see on many traditional skateboarding shoes.
