It's been years since I owned a pair of Vans but I remember why I used to like them so much. They dont hurt your feet during the break-in period like most shoes. I love the old school style and can't believe it has taken me this long to try a pair on. The fit is really good, I wear a size 13 and for some reason that size is either way too small and tight or floppy and loose. These guys a re spot on. These shoes take a day or two, to get molded to your feet, but pretty much after that they are comfortable and perfect for skateboarding. I'm used to the back of a shoe hugging my foot a bit more, but other than that they're pretty comfortable and give you a tad extra toe room and they allow you to feel the board of course.
