I wanted a plain white sneaker to wear with jeans or dresses and these vans are exactly what I was going for. They have a well cushioned footbed and lace up neatly. I really appreciated that the top of the ankle in the back was also cushioned to prevent blisters or torn skin when breaking in new sneakers. They fit perfectly and are lightweight for all day wear. I'm kind of disappointed in the color. It's a lot deeper blue in the picture then they are in real life. So I'm not as excited about them. I wear 81/2 in women's and got a size 7 in men's and they fit good. I'll keep them but I wish the color was true.
