I was very weary of ordering mirrors through the mail. Amazon did not disappoint. A work colleague said after 3 fails (mirrors arrived broken) thought another well known home improvement online place, she went with Amazon and it was perfect. So I chose Amazon too – and my mirrors came extremely boxed and padded up – no worries with delivery at all. I had a contractor install my mirrors. An electrician came earlier to wire the area so the mirror would hide any wires. The mirrors are not connected to my switch; I have to manually turn on the mirror. The defrosting mode is just a small face area—not the entire mirror. I am ok with that. The 3 levels of dim are nice, but I always keep it on bright. I have not experienced any huge amounts of fingerprints over the power button – so that does not bother me. I recommend these mirrors. ... show more

I was afraid it would shatter on delivery but it was packed so tight and well with foam and the works that it was perfect upon arrival. Wired to a Lutron Caseta on off switch by replacing the vanity light with this (hardwired). Few notes: it will not work with a dimmer wall switch (that will cause it to act funky and flicker based on the manual). If you’re going to hardwire, you need to use an on/off switch. Smart switch is fine too. Just needs to be on/off. Second- to hardwire, you need to cut off the plug. The white power cord consists of two wires. One has writing on one side of it and the other does not. I cut the plug and used a voltage tester to validate that the wire with writing on it was indeed the “hot” side. The side without anything printed on it is the neutral side. Because this went in a bathroom, I replaced the circuit breaker with one that has GFCI protection. The leds and heater are controlled by a self contained unit in the mirror / what I assume is it’s all low voltage stuff but still, better safe than sorry. To make this mirror even better, I think it would be nice to have a ground cord too. I bonded the electrical box and (using the volt meter again) made sure that the metal frame behind the glass is not conductive. But still. A screw to the frame (or even better a third wire/three prong plug to cut off would be a design upgrade in my opinion. Overall - this sucker is HEAVY. Once it’s mounted on the French cleat looking brackets, it’s nearly impossible to just slide and center. If I had to do this again, I’d mark the center on the wall and on the mirror and line it up before lowering it into position. If you do what I did and just got the sucker on the wall, I found that two cheap bottle jacks from Walmart ($20), some rubber coasters (to prevent slipping) and a level (harbor freight) were the perfect combination to gently lift the mirror off the cleats a little (just enough to release the pressure) and allowed me to slide it. Without the jacks, this thing would not move at all (mirror is 60x40). Overall - i did a lot of Amazon research before buying this brand and don’t regret it. Great quality, bright enough to light the bathroom (though not as bright as the vanity light it replaced), and very elegant looking. I will likely buy two more smaller versions of the same mirror for the his and her vanity in the master bedroom. Smaller because this thing was literally a pain in the neck (still stiff) to lift and hang with two people - worth it, but heavy so maybe get a few friends and a 6 pack if you’re going with a 60x40 size. ... show more

Update: After a short while, Customer Service finally reached out to me. They said they reached out sooner but I could not locate where they say they did. I was only able to find the one email. They agreed to compensate a small refund for the one mirror so I didn’t have to go thru the uninstall process. This is why I changed my rating. It is still a great mirror. After install of the mirror, we removed the film. This is what installation instructions require. We noticed the scratches and were disappointed due to how long it too to install the mirror and all the work involved with the electrical. I contacted seller stating I’d be willing to live with the scratches if they’d be will to refund or compensate some sort of discount. They never responded to me yet. I contacted CS thru Amazon. Robo chat couldn’t help so another foreigner did. Couldn’t help so I got transferred again to another foreigner. I was told to send back for a refund. Didn’t anyone listen to what I’m actually requesting. I’ll return it gladly if they com and move my 72” vanity to get to the electrical behind a panel wall and undo all the electrical…etc… just work with me people!!! ... show more

This is the most beautiful mirror I have ever bought. We just remodeled our bathroom, and this mirror took the new room from beautiful to wow! We used the plug-in option, and the back of the mirror is recessed so that the mirror sits flush against the wall. Hard wiring is also an option, but we are happy with the plug. ... show more

To start, packaging is solid, and included white glove a nice touch of class :>). Mounting is a breeze with included brackets and hardware. Didn't require 2 people. Range of brightness and color temp is a bonus. Backlit feature adds to the overall look of these mirrors. Will be replacing cords and hardwiring to a switch. Haven't tried antifog since bathroom reno is not complete. Just one of these, set to brightest level, is enough for an 8x12 room. Soft LED's provide a really nice atmosphere in the room.
