I ordered this in this midnight black and star white in the size medium. The fabric is incredibly soft and it appears well made. I particularly like the lace detailing. However, I found this camisole a little tight and short for my particular body. Because the fabric is thin and a little transparent, I could see my bra under the white color (this cami is not supportive to wear without a bra). If I was planning on using this to smooth strap lines under a shirt or for sleep, it would be fine, but I plan on wearing it as a layer for open cardigans, so I will be returning them. Reference: I am 39 yo, 5"4', 130 lbs. I have an athletic build with bigger-than-average thighs/bum/shoulders with a smaller waist. I usually wear size small shirt, size 6/8 pant, a size small dress (or size 4/6), 8.0 W or 8.5 M shoe, and a 34B bra. ... show more

I went by the size chart when ordering, but the camisole was way too tight and seemed more like a medium than a large. Unhappily, I had to return it. If it had fit, I would have been quite happy with the quality and the looks and would have given it a 5 star. I reordered the camisole in a size up and while it fits very snugly. Actually, I should have ordered 2 sizes up, but going by the size chart, it should have been fine. Really runs small! I am going to keep it, because it is wearable, but if I were to order again, I would definitely go bigger! I like the quality, or I would send it back. Very nice cami; thinner than expected however it keep me nice & warm. Fit is perfect; it's very stretchy so it fits like a glove. The straps do not adjust but they are perfect. It doesn't itch or roll at the bottom edges. Perfect length that tucks into pants. Feels so silky and soft. Washes perfectly and doesn't wrinkle. This fits just right to substitute for a bra unless you need a lot of support. I find bras uncomfortable, but most camis are too tight if they have any support, or too loose altogether. This one is just right, is slippery enough for clothes to slide over it, and pretty to boot.

I have several that fit in this size but instead of sending it back, I sent it to my smaller sister. I love the fact that it can be worn with the V in front or with a straight-across front, just by turning it around. June 27, 2017 I believe the camisole I gave to my sister was marked wrong. I haven't lost that much weight and my bust line is the same size as are the clothes I wore in 2016. I think I started to wear these camisoles right after Vanity Fair released them, many years ago. They aren't at all see-through and they are remarkably comfortable in all seasons. I discovered camisoles when I became a stay-at-home mother 42 years ago. I felt uncomfortable wearing shorts or slacks without something underneath my top. I had always worn full slips with my dresses at work. My job was one that required me to dress up so I didn't wear pants often. One of the nicest things about this camisoles is the fact you can wear it with the V in the front but if you're wearing something a bit too low for you, you can just spin it around and wear it with that way, which looks like a square neck. I have to wear a medicinal patch on my chest and I now use the higher back to cover it up. It didn't occur to me that my camisoles were so old that they had stretched out and would no longer come up high enough to cover the patch. I've tried several other lovely camisoles but found lace to be itchy or that they were a control type. I just ordered my regular style,in XL, and it came up far enough to cover the patch. They wear like iron - I always wash them in cold water, by hand, and hang to dry. When I first wore them, I was a 36C and I wore a Large. Due to being disabled and unable to exercise, I've gained weight, and at 42DD, an XL is still long enough and perfectly comfortable. I am still long waisted and a bit slimmer in my middle but even if you are heavier, I believe you'd find them very comfortable in the middle because they are very forgiving. I ordered and recieved the size indicated on their size chart. Got it today and it is literally skin tight. I wouldn't mind it fitting snugly but this is at least two sizes too small. And it is so transparent that it really serves no purpose. It is soft but completely inefficient as a camisole.

This camisole is exactly as I expected. It is nylon fabric with delicate lace trim and princess-style seaming. Some people complained that the seaming showed through shirts which bothered them but it doesn't bother me. It is not extremely noticeable. The fabric is like nylon panties so it allows a shirt to fall naturally, not "catch" onto the shirt fabric like the stretchy camisoles do. Thought I would not like straps that weren't adjustable but when I wear it, the straps don't slip down. ... show more
