This is not the type of shoe that I typically wear. I have wide feet and some nerve damage and value function and comfort over fashion, almost to a fault. I should probably not name brands, but I wear shoes that are wide and boxy most of the time. I do like a pair of shoes that I can slip on easily to step outside or run a short errand. I thought these might be a good option and gave them a try. They slip on easily and are very comfortable for me to wear. They do not feel tight on my Fred and Barney-style feet. They provide some pretty good arch support so far as well; also a bit of a surprise. Initially, I felt a little silly wearing them. This is simply because I am used to seeing my feet in my normal shoes, and they seemed very long and pointy in this style. However, my wife saw me wearing them and gave her wholehearted approval. She is all about fashion and professional appearances. Now I feel much more comfortable wearing them and the look is growing on me as it becomes more familiar. I have only worn these shoes for a short time now. I cannot speak to their durability or how they will perform over time. If I notice any significant positives or negatives in the future, I will update this review. For now, they seem like pretty nice shoes at a reasonable price point. They slip on and off easily. My wife likes me to wear them when we are going places where she wants me to look presentable. I know that buying shoes off the internet can be a gamble. My experience is a winner. I would recommend these shoes; I hope that your experience is similar to mine.

Initially, when I ordered this pair of Van Heusen Men’s shoes, I wasn’t sure if my teenage son would wear them in public. But thankfully, he said he actually likes them. He said they were comfortable, because they have a memory foam insole and the sides don’t dig into his ankles. The “leather” is soft, and the sole bends when walking and has a good tread. I ordered a Size 8, because according to the Size Chart, the brand sizes are ONE STEP LOWER than US sizes. However, since my son wears orthotics, the shoe was a little small for him if he uses his inserts. My recommendation is that if you wear inserts, you should order one size up. It worked out okay for him, because the inner sole has a generous memory foam arch, so he didn’t really need his inserts. I am happy he’s happy with them. Although he will wear them only for school special events, I think they will last until he grows out of them. The price went up 50%, since I ordered them. I would get them, before they raise the price again.

First, for the price these are a great bargain. They have some memory foam included, and the engineered leather is a great look for casual and even dining out. I wouldn't use these with a suit or meeting with clients, but for everyday use and even social occasions, these are great. These are a medium width, and I ordered a half size up. Even then they were narrow and snug for me (keep that in mind when ordering); Even though snug fitting, they are comfortable and wear well. Very minimal heel, but that's not a problem for me. These go well with my jeans, and have a nice plain look to them. For the price these are a great bargain; hopefully they can work on making a WIDE version of these in the future. I give these four stars only because they are not a perfect fit for me. Pricing, material, and looks all on point.

These shoes are well-made and good looking I ordered my usual shoe size (9.5) in black, and they fit perfectly. I like the look of the engineered/synthetic leather - it is flexible and soft. No break-in time is needed at all, and they have just enough give to slip on without much trouble, but at the same time, they don't slip on my heels. And the soles are good for walking on general indoor and outdoor surfaces, they aren't slippery or anything like that. Walking in them is very comfortable. I am pleased with the way the insole cushioning feels. Near the toes, there are small raised squares (see photo) that kind of message your toes and the ball of your feet. There is also a nice cushion beneath the instep arch. All of this adds up to give an overall very nice experience wearing these shoes, so I recommend them. I have included a couple of photos - one of the shoes in bright light and another of the inside of the shoes.
