  • Great Story and Engaging
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Vampire: The Masquerade
Going into this game I did not think I was going to like it all that much but after playing through it it is actually a really good game! It is very dialogue heavy but is very engaging and allows the player to really step into the shoes of a detective. This game is definitely not for everyone but personally I think it is a great game! ... show more

  • Not a game its a conversation
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Vampire: The Masquerade
Horrible game. Completly flawed and not finished at all. The whole game is a series of conversations....let me say that again all you do is talk. You cannot even skip a conversation you haft to sit through everyone talking. Half the time the speaking animations don't even work. The graphics are something out of a pre-2000 PC game. I only played for 2 hours and now it is uninstalled and permanently shelved. My theory is this was an episode in a much bigger much better game and they just decided to cash in on what could best be called a flawed demo. ... show more

  • Oh man…
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Vampire: The Masquerade
So I didn’t expect a massive rpg, Nor any action, TBH my expectations were pretty low for this game…And this is coming from someone who liked both visual novels and loves the original bloodlines game, HOWEVER… This game is a huge buggy mess, peoples faces have just straight up dissapeared when I’ve spoken to them, Pop in texture is horrifying, I haven’t seen. It this bad in a game in years, And this is the series X version we’re speaking of here. The graphics look like the characters were dipped in grease and have the most dead looking faces I’ve ever seen, Nothing in this world feel alive. The gameplay is just as bad, Aside from there being ABSOLUTELY NO ACTION, 0%, None, Nada, Could’ve been forgiven if the game has a strong plot since you know…That’s what would have to hold it down as it has pretty much nothing else to rely on, It is excruciatingly boring. It’s hard to get through the story, Hard to care for the characters, And in a game that gives the illusion of dialogue choices, You pick the answer you like and you guessed it, You get it wrong. So you have to power up some of your abilities to be able to answer these questions, But the game mentions a brief introduction on how to do this in text on a menu and you never see it again. Right when you begin you can’t talk much, So why are the options even available? Is it for a second play through? This is the kind of confusing mess you’d be walking into. This game is worth at MAX $15-$20 price range. I support devs, I support indie games, I give things a chance, But save your hard earned money, And your time. It’s bad, Maybe if you catch it on a super sale and if you’re still interested with the knowledge of what I wrote above then hey, Power to you and I hope you enjoy it, But in all honesty…This is the worst next gen game I’ve played, And one of the worst full priced releases I’ve ever touched. Well its $10 less or $20 less depending o the generation you own. Glitchy, Buggy, greasy, Dead eyed graphics, HORRIBLE sound that’s uneven in my surround sound and on the stereo in my television, Terrible tutorials (Pretty much none after an initial text on screen) Terrible story, Cringe worthy voice acting and no gameplay minus “investigating” which means walk up to something..Press A or X depending on the console, and follow a trail, enter a room, press A again. This game is a full on stinker. 1.5/10 ... show more
