I got these to rebuild an older Castle Creations 1406 brushless motor that I got as parts with one of the bearings destroyed. Didn't know at the time if the motor would work after repair so really I went for the best bang for the buck and this was the choice I went with. All 10 arrived in a tube and each one spun fine by hand. The ID tolerance on these bearings are much more tight than the original 605ZZ bearings used in the motor. I checked the bearing ID with some 5mm shafts I had to make sure it wasn't an issue with the bearings and it wasn't. With these new bearings pressed in and the motor reassembled the rotor spins freely. There's no grinding. Long term I haven't run the motor enough to see how these bearings will hold up. But these are affordable that I could see if this motor works. ... show more

    • These bearings are not waterproof

I used two of these bearings in an electric motor that is subject to water. The top bearing failed in about one month. The bearing was locked up and one shield had popped off. They are inexpensive bearings and may fit other applications but water exposure is not recommended based on my experience.
