The light is operational and comes on. I am not sure how well it works as I don’t see evidence of any dead bugs or fresher smelling air. The instructions state that there is a beeping warning sound before it comes on… mine made a faint ticking sound. Then the remote, while it turned it on and off, quit working when selecting how long it stayed on. The marketing pitch or directions didn’t say how often you need to run this light. ... show more

I have one and really works in controlling bed bugs and fleas (my cat was infested) rapidly. I got one for my daughter few months ago and she said it does not work. I visited and tried it yesterday and it does not work; no smell, no effect, white light. Escentially, it is a regular lamp. If you can test it first, do not buy it a a gift. ... show more

it seems to be working pretty good. The heat pushes critters inside and the light takes them out

    • Works well except for the motion detection feature.
Bought it for a storage room that's very humid. I noticed mold on some items so bought the light for its UV-C light. It's killed the mold spores and other unsanitary smells but it continues to glow when anyone walks in the room.
