Oh. Oh my. What can I say about these magical trousers which elevate my gluteus maximus in the most delightful of ways? I fear I have not got enough room to write it all in one place. These super cute capri jeans are SO DANG ADORABLE on my extremely pear/hourglass shaped body. As a girl with pretty thick thighs, it's always a gamble buying jeans online since you never really know how they'll fit the Thunder Thighs™ irl. Since these Utyful jeans have a goos amount of ounce and stretch, they glide on PERFECTLY across my legs and lift my extremely flat butt like a push up bra for the backside. The wide leg is equally flattering, not too wide and not too narrow, and keeping it's general shape even when moving around. They're sturdy, decently thick, and so darn comfortable, they're easily my new favorite pair of jeans. I looked everywhere for any fraying threads or oddly stitched areas and found zero defects, which was seriously impressive. As a person who has worked in the garment industry, it's rare to find jeans that have this quality of a build to them. They're not so thick that you can wear them on a roofing job or anything, but they'll hold up beautifully if you take care of 'em. Can I just also mention again how darn CUTE these are on my thick legs? The sizing is 100% perfect for me, I'm just really blown away by it. Definitely strongly recommend!

I have to admit, these capri jeans just didn’t work for me. The fit was so loose and shapeless, I felt like I was swimming in them. While the quality is actually pretty good, and I can see them appealing to anyone who loves a super-relaxed, oversized vibe, they definitely don’t match the photos. I ordered a medium, but it felt more like a large, and I’m not even convinced a small would give me the right silhouette. Comfort-wise, they’re a win—very soft and easy to wear—but style-wise, I felt more frumpy than fabulous. If you’re looking for a flattering pair of capris, these might not be the best choice. For me, it’s a pass.

I'm not even deducting a star for that (to me) odd-looking hem. For all I know, that's perfectly in style nowadays. I do know that I love these jeans. Except for the just-enough stretch, these look and feel identical to the "original" big-name jeans I wore for decades, and will give me classic casual style along with any-season wear. The big difference? With these jeans, no break-in period needed! I have a thought that perhaps they fit so well on me is because I have what I call my washboard-flat rear end, but honestly? I think there's enough stretch to make room for all shapes that way, as long as the overall sizing is right. There is one other difference. I am 5'4", and apparently most manufacturers nowadays are making pants and my preferred ankle-length skirts for taller women than that. Very frustrating, because it seems like every new skirt or pants I've acquired this year needs hemming. When I saw these long capris, I thought maybe they'd be on the long side too and I could circumvent that dreary chore. To a point, I was correct. On me they're not TRUE full length, but happily, the hem on these capri pants falls just above my ankle. Long enough for me without another hemming job, and for my taller sisters, these should fit as true capris. These do wash out to a moderately weathered appearance, so if you're looking for jeans that look crisp and new, these won't do. (Photo is after washing.) If you're looking for classic, comfortable, all-season jeans, I highly recommend these.

I'm so used to skinny jeans and leggings that it took me a minute to adjust to seeing myself in these, but I do like them now as a casual look now. I also love that high-waisted pants are back in style. These are not too high-waisted, though, and they have good sized pockets in front and back that are large enough to to hold your phone. I typically wear a size 8, and the size medium fit me as the size chart indicated, so I would say they are true to size. I ordered the white, which is not see-through. These pants are made with a good medium weight fabric with a bit of stretch for fit and comfort, and a quality zipper, button and belt loops. I'm seeing a lot of wide hems lately too, so look of the hem is on-trend. I washed them before reviewing and if they shrank, it was barely noticeable. Using a steamer or iron out of the dryer will make these white pants look a bit more polished.
