After washing there was minimal shrinkage and no color loss, keeping them deep black. I bought them for hand towels in the kitchen and half bath and they do not disappoint. I've used these for years. I buy white ones and bleach them. They eventually wear out after several years but they stand up well. They do continue to produce lint so it's important to clean lint filter every time.

I use these for drying my cars after washing them. I find these to be the right size for the right balance of getting the car dried fast without being too big to handle well. Right thickness for drying a car without being overly bulky. I find I can mostly get a car dried with 2 towels, need a 3rd towel to finish up with the headlights, grill, nooks and crannies. So that's pretty good absorbancy. Very fair price. Quite absorbent, very satisfactory. Be aware that as with any towel, they'll dry better after you wash them once. I kind of wish this package had fewer towels as I didn't need so many, but they'll get used up in 20 years, maybe. But the pricing is hard to beat per towel. UPDATE: Okay, I've had these almost 7 years now. First, they really are 100% cotton. Second, I just noticed these are described as "salon" towels, so maybe some people will think of these as facial towels. They'll work fine that way, but they're not gonna be super luxurious, but that's not what I bought them for. I originally thought I was getting more than I needed, but have found other uses. Like washing a floor and then using them to get it dry fast when you need to. Picking up spills fast. In very hot weather working outside, just barely the right size to wrap around my head and fasten in the back with a rubber band! Stays put. Really soaks up the sweat and keeps it from running into my eyes. On a few of them, a few threads are coming loose a little bit around the edges, but I use these hard and they've been washed a lot. Considering the use and the price, I'm not changing my rating at all! ... show more
