I was in the market for new towels, bought 5 sets. The recent reviews told me these towels shed, and may possibly not last very long. Looking at the pictures, these towels had the features I look for when I buy towels. They looked reasonably thick, and the stitching on the ends told me these are likely quality-made towels. I purposely waited a few weeks before writing this review so I can see this shedding and fraying for myself. Well I'm not sure what the one-star reviews were expecting, but anytime you buy new cloth products there will be shedding, fraying and shrinking. That is because these are mass-manufactured products, and they are going into mechanical washing and high-temperature drying processes. The manufacturers know this so they weave in extra to compensate. After several washings, these towels dont shed more than most new towels do. I also didn't notice color bleeding like some reviews claim. What I did get was a towel replacement that equaled my last towel replacement from a big housewares store for nearly one-third the price. The measurements, stitching and quality of the towel sets are roughly equal, but I paid three times more for in 2009 dollars. This to me is a win, and a hearty recommendation to anyone seeking a great deal on new towels. Not sure if these will last as long as the last sets did, but its looking good so far. ... show more

    • The Product Is Great, Delivery However...

We've purchased these towel sets multiple times over the years, they're absolutely amazing for the price. Truly, there are NO complaints about the product themselves. However, that in mind, shipping is basically a joke. Having purchased from this company and these exact products multiple times in the past, we'd always received them in a box or some sort of shipping bag. Today, they showed up as though I went to the store and bought them off a rack. Personally, I don't want my product shipping so that everybody can see exactly what it is. And on top of that, I'm still waiting on a set as I'm sure the shipping company had no clue about it because they were NOT in a box or bag (shipping packaging). This is just another way for a company to cut corners and not pay that little bit in shipping packaging. I understand that shipping prices aren't the greatest, I'm not going to fault any company for it. I also do not appreciate not having the option to have closed packaging for my shipment. There wasn't an option (at the time of this review, if it is approved for the public) or I'd have chosen said option. Again, the product is absolutely wonderful as we've purchased and used these multiple times over the years. But if you want closed packaging, please beware that you may not have that presently. ... show more

I ordered the black towel set and I absolutely love the color and the material. They are very absorbent and decently thick towels. However, please be aware that these towels shed a lot. I would suggest fully washing These towels at least five times before using them on your body. I washed them before the first use and felt like I needed another shower after I dries off because of the little fuzzies that were not only on my body but all over my tub. ... show more

I ordered these for one of my Airbnbs. The towels are soft! When I opened the package the color of the towels matched the pictures exact. Love the quality of these. To bad one of my guests mixed white towels with the green towels. Now the white towels are green.

I unpacked it and it was already a bit stringy in some areas where the stitching was loose. They're very soft, absorbancy is okay. Color is great though. They're a good towel set for what you pay for.
