Obviously not "executive", but for every other type of user, one of the best in terms of general quality (buy it NEW. It's not worth saving $10). The only thing that bothered me is that the bracket under the surface is exactly where you'd drill a grommet hole and it's too thick for most clamps.     • Nice desk, but double check the screws holding the top on!

I ordered this desk twice....first one arrived with all the screws holding the wood top to the steel frame stripped/ripped out of the wood. I thought maybe it was damaged in shipping, but I'm pretty sure it's a manufacturing flaw....the top is pre-screwed to it's frame at the factory, but the workers obviously have their drills set with too high of torque, so it's very easy to strip the particle board wood (the top is particle board with plastic laminate over it). I'm pretty sure the 1 star reviews had this exact same problem. My second desk arrived today, and only 2 of the top screws had stripped. So I remove them all, put some glue on the top where every screw is, and reattached the top.....now it's very sturdy. Just don't over tighten the screws like the factory does. The rest of the assembly (putting the legs on) is super easy...10 minutes. An allen wrench is provided. It's a good deal if you get it on sale. It's a nice looking deck, and will serve nicely as my wife's sewing table for her business. She loves it. ... show more

Legs are really sturdy and is easy to put together. The table top material is pretty cheaply made and screw hole is already stripped when I was putting it together. However its OK for the price.

I would like to give this a better review, but I can't. We ordered one and some of the screws holding the frame to the top had pulled out of the particle wood in shipping. I was able to reattach enough of them to be able to use. We did like the looks and other than the pulled out screws, assembly was pretty straight forward. However, we wanted another one to match and ordered a second desk to match. Upon opening, all of the screws had pulled out and one corner of the desk was dinged. We received a replacement item, and it also had all of the screws pulled out of the top. We were able to redrill and reattach the top to the frame. I wouldn't recommend if you are not somewhat handy and prepared to drill the metal frame and reattach the top. I do like the looks of the desks but the packaging and attachment screws definitely need a redesign. ... show more

The desk/table comes with good amount of styrofoam to protect it during travel. My box had a few scratches and holes from shipping, but found no scratches on the surfaces. The assembly required is just the legs. The instruction manual should be very clear for setup. A few things I noticed: there were some fiberglass fibers within the packaging. I'm not sure if they somehow got in the box through the aforementioned holes, or if they came from the factory. Either way, you should probably keep a window open and vacuum after assembly. One of the leg pieces had a bit of scratching on it, but not to the point that it would be noticable or warrant a replacement. I picked up 2 of these during Black Friday sale and overall I am happy with them. Best quality I've seen for the price I was able to get them for. ... show more
