First, it should be told I had tried multiple switchers, including some that cost $80-$100 that were DOA and manufacturers refused to cover replacements. This is a cheap part: it is cheaply made, but gets the job done. When I switched once, it shorted out the cables and they stopped functioning. Their support team was a tremendous help! I received a replacement very fast, in literally 2 days, and got it delivered on Sunday before a major meeting the following day. Other switchers didn't last as long as this one did. What can I say. I saw this here in Amazon. I said to myself, "Definitely something I can use since I have my work and personal laptops side by side and I hate siwtching from one keyboard and mouse to another. It gets confusing. I bought it. Tested it and I loved it. Didnt even need external power to make it work. Just Plug 'n' Play. My Dell and my Acer, using the same mouse, the same keyboard, same external keypad, and the same headset. All with the touch of a button. Incredible! And they even activate a 2 year warranty for the product FREE! You can't get any better than this. I highly recommend this product! Have had this to act as a keyboard/mouse switch for a laptop and a desktop computer. No issues so far, there's a very slight delay when flipping between computers but other than that it's great.

It worked for a few months 2 maybe then one-day it just stopped. 2 stars because it worked. It worked as described. It just didn't last long at all. It's cool you can power it with usb c but only when it works...
