My toddler kept asking us to make him a tent so we would do the makeshift blankets and the chairs each time but that can be a bit much to do every day so we were thrilled when we found this tent and he absolutely loves it. He goes in and out however he pleases and loves looking out the little window :-). If I had one suggestion it would be to design it in a way where the flaps of the entrance can easily stay and remain open and not fold back so easily and also to have it where the flaps can actually close when wanted. I find the string attached to it doesn't really keep it closed. Not a big thing at all just something I noticed when my little guy was playing hide and seek and was trying to close the doors but they dont really close. On another note, we had a piece of the frame break which made part of the tent collapse and we wrote to the company. They sent a replacement out right away, literally was shipped to us in 2 days and playtime picked right back up where we left off. Customer service was very friendly, professional and timely, I love companies like this, it makes you want to come back for more items. ... show more

We love this soooooo much! More importantly, she loves it! Being a white pup, she cannot withstand the horrible heat here in desert in spring/summer/fall, so we thought we would get this, bought two of them for front and back yard. The only thing is that it is hot and windy here and the poles are not the strongest, but as you can see in the photo, we weighed it down with stuff, lol, it has held up pretty good. We chose the most shady spot, because it will warm up if in direct sunlight. She likes the direct sun, so you do have to keep an eye on them! lol ***However; if the child or pet or wind somehow separates the poles it may collapse--accidentally--(they are collapsible---that is potential problem. I would just advise parents to reinforce the poles somehow.) So, it did collapse on her, just by getting her paw nail caught in it, we got her out but she was caught by the string and struggled for a while so when we got to her, she was scared, but is better now. She is fine but we reinforced it and she is back! Please reinforce! Otherwise, this was GREAT summer purchase--$25 each, not bad, we will leave them up most likely, as they are SO CUTE! I reached out to the company to inquire about a fire rating sheet and received this information. Because of their response, I was able to keep the tent in my classroom! My students were so happy that we got to keep it! We use it as a calming corner and also as a spot for independent reading. This is the fourth year in a row that I have utilized this tent in my classroom and it has held up very well.     • Lasted three days. Thin plastic legs and frame. But the best customer service!

You'll know when you're setting it up: the cheap, flexible plastic legs and frame aren't going to last long. Right after putting it together, the tautness of the fabric begins bending the legs! This lasted three days before two legs were collapsed, and the corner (plastic) frame pieces were twisted and cracked. EDIT: The company responded, refunded my purchase price, AND offered me another item from their catalog to correct my unhappiness. For this, I must amend my review; customer service like that is very uncommon these days! The replacement "Rocket Ship Tent" is a MUCH stronger design, and is serving me well. Purchased 6 tents for my Son’s 6th Birthday Sleepover Party! They all fit perfectly in my basement. The colors went great with the Super Mario themed party! Although only 3 tents survived the weekend, they were definitely worth the money… (the kids started diving on the tents so of course the frames started breaking- BOYS! Ugh!). This tent was slightly more difficult to setup than I expected. I thought it would be something that could easily be folded away when not in use but that's not the case. While it does look nice when it's setup, I noticed the material is super thin and easy to rip. In fact, some of the seams already look as though they're going to rip soon. My son did like playing in it so I wouldn't call this a total lose, however I don't think I would recommend this to a friend.
