Description

Windblown tents, canopies, and umbrellas are the number one cause of injuries and insurance claims at outdoor events where canopies are used. Most canopy manufacturers recommend 24 to 50 lbs. per leg on a 10' x 10' canopy. Help secure your canopy with four interlocking weights from US Weight. With these four empty shells, you can customize the amount of weight you need by mix and matching with other canopy weights. Fill each shell with sand or gravel for a maximum weight of 5 lbs. per shell. Do not fill the weights with water. Then seal the weight with the provided cap plugs. This set does not include a carry strap. Made in the United States from recycled plastic material, these interlocking weights securely capture the canopy leg. I purchased 2 sets of these weights. They worked very well holding down my 10X10. The wind was blowing pretty steady with some gusts occasionally. I was a little concerned but the weights and tie-downs did their job. Very happy with the results.

Weights appear decent quality and worked well on the first test (25 mph wind). We are a cross country team and use these for the team tents. We often have winds as most races are in open fields etc. The carry strap is a must to keep them together while traveling and make carrying a lot easier. HOwever one of our boxes did not have the strap. 2 did. Would have been 5 stars if they had the strap in all boxes. We didn't have time to return and used them the day they arrived. Functionality is great, but QC is not. Was told I could either return before use (not an option) or buy a new strap (8 bucks). Amazon's chat bots and AI does not work for these kinds of issues. They are just not willing to listen to the actual problem. I will update the review if US weights honors the original purchase with a new strap. Amazon did not help.. ... show more

These canopy weights are great compared to the water or sand filled options. They are quite durable as of now (don't know if they will crack like the plastic weight lifting weights (they are made the same way but with slots and dimples). The carry strap system is simple and makes transporting they easy and convenient. I purchased the water fill type weights which leaked, were hard to carry and awkward to set up and transport. These are a game changer! So easy to transport, set up, remove and store! And they are stackable, meaning you can adjust the amount of weights you need to hold down your canopy.
