I purchased this skirt for a Christmas party, even though I was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews I read about it being smaller than expected, too short, and see through. I was so thrilled when it arrived because I could immediately tell it was good quality, made of super soft, beautiful material that was definitely not see through. Then I tried it on, and it fit perfectly! I am 5'4, about 145 lbs and it is the perfect length and fit. So pretty and so comfortable I decided to order 3 more in black, navy, and dark grey. A few days later when they arrived, it was the exact same experience... perfect fit, great quality, and definitely not see through. Definitely worth every penny of the cost. Thank you so much! One question, do you make any of these skirts in print fabrics? If so I will probably order more!

At first I was worried to order because I would see a lot of tall girls in the reviews. I ordered it for a halloween costume and it fit perfectly! Size and length, for reference i’m 4’10. It could be worn for other reasons too, it’s perfect for a family day out!

I bought the BLACK skirt to satisfy the "uniform" requirements for a one-time upcoming Christmas concert. I am petite 5'1", 112 lbs. I got the Medium. It's long and I have to fold the entire 5.5" waist band to get the maxi length. The back skirt is 100% stretchy, comfortable and breathable even in warm weather. I love the look. The skirt is easy care and line-dries quickly. Next, I purchased the BLUE butterfly print skirt. The color is printed on, so it doesn't run. it's very pretty and it's made of a different fabric, a silky, smooth nylon which really like. I think this one will be my favorite and I have several tops I can pair with it. I also purchased a RED skirt. It has the same material as the black skirt, a soft, stretch knit; comfortable and breathable and the red color pairs great with my sleeveless red-yellow print top, which is part of a uniform. To prepare the skirt, I rinsed it in cold water and hung it to dry. I was a little dismayed that a few small splotches developed I suppose from the dye resettling. So, I rinsed it again hoping to even out the color but instead wound up with bigger and more obvious splotches making the skirt unwearable as I was going for a dress-up look. For me, the splotches would be ok for casual use or as a beach cover-up, but I don't need that, so I am returning the RED skirt and keeping the BLACK and BLUE skirts.

I washed the slate gray by hand and now it appears more navy. I wore to work and it felt so lightweight I had to check to see if was still around my waist. It felt like maybe it had fallen off! Somewhat hip hugging if yours are not perfect. Fits as shown in the picture, a slip conceals imperfections. I am usually a 16 and I got the XL. It seems to loosen slightly as the day goes along. I need thigh and tummy shapewear to smooth the lumps that won't disappear with any exercise. A nylon slip prevents the cling. Otherwise, comfortable and the colors are nice. Very soft and lightweight. It is very long and flowing on me at 5'8. I do not fold the waist but if you are shorter you probably will. I would definitely not put this in the washing machine or dryer. Nice skirt but the material is very thin. There are slightly thicker skirts available about the same price.

I bought this hoping to be able to wear it with fall sweaters, but it very much screams “summer” to me. It’s thin, it’s see-through, and reminds me of the beach coverup I had in 2001. It’s clingy in the bum and hips, which could be very nice if you like to accentuate your curves. But it will also show every bump and lump unless you’re wearing shapewear under it. Again, it’s all in your preferences. I happen to like the stretchiness all around, and the way the lower end flows. The style, while I had an identical piece in 2001, is still very much “in.” And I loved that maxi skirt/beach coverup. So I am going to keep it after all. I am 5’ 10” and the skirt (which I wear as high-rise) hits a little below my ankle.

This skirt is so freaking comfortable! It’s very soft and snug around my waist, I can walk without it sliding down, I love the color! And it is very stretchy! And when it comes to washing, it dries fairly quickly if you let it air dry!

I love love love a piece of clothing that is so versatile! I am 5' tall, 115 pounds, and if I pull this skirt up to wear as a strapless dress it kisses my ankles. Wear it with the wide waist band folded in any of a number of positions; just under the bra band, (kind of like where an empire waistline would hit) or anywhere below. Wear it as a skirt with a cropped t-shirt, or a tied button down, or as a strapless dress, perhaps covered with a cute topper or denim vest. Can't go wrong with this one!
