I bought this for my nephew's wedding next week, 1 week before Christmas. I could not have purchased a lovelier, better fitting, soft and comfortable dress for this semi-formal wedding. This dress is so comfortable that I will no have a problem wearing it all afternoon (the wedding is at 3:00pm), and evening. I feel like a princess in it. The rich color, soft, velour/velvety type material, soft sheen, makes it look elegant. It will also be perfect for Christmas Eve services at Church.

I love the style, and thickness of this dress. Purchased for my MIL’s wedding in late October, it was around 40 degrees Fahrenheit outside and I was almost completely unbothered; I'm anemic and am always cold. I’m larger chested 32DDD so I opted for sizing up. I’m glad I did. I don’t think the dress would’ve fit on my chest otherwise. The waist still tried to rid up upon my bust a bit, but hardly enough to notice. Due to having to size up, the sleeves were looser than designed to wear, and the dress was longer than I needed. Since it was short notice I just opted for platform boots, as there wasn’t any time to have it tailored. I ordered an XL and am normally a size 12 in pants/dresses. The overall fit aside from length and sleeves is acceptable! I did not notice any weird smells, and though it was thick enough to keep me warm it is breathable fabric. So no sweat stains to worry about either! 4 Stars instead of 5 simply because I’m positive a Large size would’ve fit me better overall, but the chest would definitely not have.

This is a great dress. The emerald green is the perfect color for the Christmas holiday. The length is a bit longer than I wanted it to be so I am having it hemmed about 4'. I will post pics afterward. I wanted to have it just above the ankles rather than below them. The fabric is thick and hangs very well. Not see-through at all like some other thinner "velvets" on her to buy. Would recommend purchasing.

I love the weight of the fabric as it hangs perfectly. It's stretchy, comfortable, and more flattering than dresses i tried on at the department stores. Size 16 (2x). So happy i took a chance!

I have a long torso and 40D bust. The XL was too tight across the bust and not flattering through my middle. I don’t have a huge tummy, but it’s not flat. It just didn’t lay right. The XXL was better, but still not flattering on me. The fabric, color, and dress itself was very pretty, and I didn’t find it cheap. A woman with regular torso and smaller bust might do very well in it.
