Used this for my youngest kid but it would have made life a lot easier if we had this for all of my kids. With so many options for motion, speed, and sound, this thing is awesome for soothing a crying baby. The look and size of this are perfect and it fit nicely in our room near the bed so baby was always within reach. Uppababy makes great quality products and this is no different. It is expensive but when you think about the extra hours of sleep you will get, there really isn't a question on if it's worth it so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to new parents.

Do not buy this bassinet. It is a huge waste of money. It is very loud. You cannot turn off the control panel lights and they stay bright all night. If the swinging feature is turned on for longer than 10 minutes and then you turn the bed off, the motor continues to make loud noise for an additional 20 minutes. This bed is a scam. When I approached uppababy about it they said the manual had a typo and that the bassinet makes a noise for 20 minutes after being turned off. DO NOT BUY. I had the mamaroo smart bassient previously and it was much better.

This Bassinet takes things to a whole new level! I had no idea a bassinet could be so smart- or do so much! It is like you crossed a bassinet with a fancy high tech baby swing, and now you have the best of both in one compact, attractive unit. The overall quality and build of this bassinet feels luxurious, which I'd expect to see at this price. The fabric is beautiful, the controls are intuitive and aesthetic, and the ability to control this with an app or manually is fantastic. The storage basket is a nice touch, you will definitely find a use for it, and the legs are adjustable so you can get this to the right height for your needs. I love the mesh sides that allow for extra breathability, and also the breathable mesh of the mattress. I am not usually a fan of white noise machines, but I do like the options you get that are built into this, and they work well for my baby. I am glad I don't need to also worry about a separate sound machine and can just use this. I have not yet tried the "learning" function of the app, mostly because my baby seems to like any and all of the motions this offers, so I haven't had to get really customized with it. If your baby is super picky, you can really dive into all of the options and get a super custom routine that mimics your own movements when you rock your baby. At a fraction of the cost of the Snoo you get, in my opinion, more useful features and less hassle. If you want a smart bassinet, I personally think this is the nicest on the market, especially since Uppababy bought mamaRoo and this is the rebrand of their bassinet with their excellent motion tech. Is it expensive? Yes, but it is a really great value compared to its competitors. Your baby will sleep well, and so will you- and when you are a parent of a newborn you really can't put a price on that.

This is absolutely the most functional and aesthetically pleasing bassinet on the market. Prior to getting any crib or bassinet in the past, I did a ton of research and even purchased a few duds before finding the ones that I like. It’s a very difficult journey to find something that perfectly suits you your living space and your newborn. That being said this bassinet has everything you can possibly need that others do not have on the market. First and most importantly is that it is a complete bassinet meaning you don’t need to purchase anything extra in order to make it comfortable or functional for your little one. The mattress comes with it You don’t have to worry about purchasing extra mattress for extra cushioning. You get a basket attached to the bottom for storage, which many bassinet and beds do not offer. You get an option for rocking and for sound soothing, which is usually accessories that you would have to purchase separately like sound machines. Also, the height is adjustable so depending on where you intend on placing your bassinet, you can make it perfect in height. The height adjustability is also substantial enough to make a noticeable difference. The mesh is breathable and beautiful and soft. There are certain bassinets and playpens on the market that use mesh that is actually very hard and scratchy And kids can unexpectedly kick them or scratch their little hands while moving and squirming around here you will not experience that problem. Also, the bassinet is extremely aesthetically pleasing, and the color is suitable for the majority of interior decor. So so you will not have an issue making it seamlessly blend into your home decor. Also, the death is really comfortable, you won’t hurt your back, trying to bend over to pick up your little one, nor is it too shallow to worry that your little one may prompt themselves up. Keep in mind that this product is good up until a certain age and will not be very usable after your little one starts to try and sit or stand. That being said it is the most convenient thing to have if you have multi family home and other kiddos in the house and need to watch over your newborn at the same time. This bassinet is perfect to carry around and place in any location where you want to see your little one. It helps you keep an eye instead of placing your baby in the bedroom and needing to use a camera, for me, this is a huge piece of mind. Also, it helps to rock your little one to sleep and soothe them with sounds, which is amazing because it’s all attached into one unit. No need to run back-and-forth looking for a sound machine. Overall, this bassinet is beautifully designed and extremely functional. It will allow you the peace of mind that is much needed during the postpartum stage and most importantly the comfort and convenience. This makes a very thoughtful and luxurious gift and is beautifully packaged. Keep in mind the box is rather heavy, and you may need assistance to carry the box. That being said, the bassinet is very easy to set up and does not require much of your time. Very impressed with this bassinet and wish I had it 100 times over.

We love the UPPAbaby Soma Smart Bassinet! It’s been a game changer for keeping our little one calm and comfortable. The 5 motion settings and 5 speed levels give great options to find whatever soothes baby best, and the 4 built-in sounds are a nice touch. The MotionSync Technology seems to really help keep everything smooth and consistent. We also appreciate that it’s height adjustable — super convenient next to the bed — and everything you need is included: a comfy mattress, a soft sheet, and a handy storage basket underneath. It feels well-made and sturdy, but still easy to move around the house. Overall, it’s worth the investment if you want a premium bassinet that gives you lots of customizable soothing options. Highly recommend!
