Received this Voyla bunkie board for our king bed, and it quietly fixed a problem we had been putting off for years: that subtle sag in the middle that left my back grumbling in the morning. The first night, I noticed I wasn’t rolling toward the center, just staying put and actually sleeping through. One thing some folks might see as a negative is the weight - this thing is no flimsy panel - but for me that just means I’m confident it will handle my weight and my nephew’s occasional running leap onto the bed when he visits. We recently upgraded our bed from a queen to a king, and these Voyla bunkie boards were exactly what we needed. We ordered the King size (76” x 80”), and the fit is absolutely perfect for our bed frame. Installation was quick and easy. I placed the boards right over our bed skirt, and they work perfectly to hold everything in place—no shifting, bunching, or slipping at all. The non-slip silicone grips really do their job, and we haven’t experienced any squeaks or noise since installing them. The quality is impressive. The heavy-duty 600D Oxford fabric combined with the ultra-sturdy support boards feels very durable, and the unique S-curve wave structure provides excellent, even support across the mattress. Our mattress feels more stable, and there’s no sagging or dipping into gaps anymore. We’ve noticed improved comfort and support, especially for the back and lower spine. Our mattress was starting to sag and we were disappointed because we'd only had it for a year. Turns out our bed slats weren't giving it enough support. Rather than get a new bed frame I decided to get this bunkie board to see if it could fix our issues. I'm blown away at the difference! The board itself is a rigid corrugated plastic wrapped in a cover that has no slip grips on one side to keep the board on the slats. I wasn't sure if it'd make a difference but it was immediate once I put the mattress back on the bed frame. Instant support! Install is dead simple too. Take it out of the box and unfold it. I got a king size for our bed and it came in two separate pieces with four panels each. I laid them out and made sure they were even. From unpacking to using it took less than 10 minutes. Super impressed with this and even happier we don't need a new mattress. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

The boards add noticeable support when used over bed slats. They also seem to help keep the boards from shifting as much when my teen flops down on the bed. The board had a bit of an odor, but it wasn't the typical off-gassing some products have and it faded very quickly. I ordered this to add support to my box spring as I have a memory foam mattress, but I ended up using this on my daughter's twin bed instead. It worked well for us, even though each half of the king is 40" by 76", not the standard 38'' x 75' twin. (See photo) I would actually recommend ordering the king size for use in twin beds if the frame is big enough to fit them. I haven't decided whether to use the other half on the king (turned and under the side I sleep on) or on my son's bunk bed for added support. Regardless, I'm happy with these boards and, since they fold up, the extra half is easy to store until I do make up my mind about placement.
