I bought these skates for my boyfriend, they fit him great and it has a good unisex look to it so it can pass for either woman’s or men’s skates. He said they felt comfortable and as a beginner he was able to skate perfectly in them. He skated on them right out of the box just fine so they do come sharpened, but for a smoother glide feel I would recommend sharpening the blades.
