This is a nice, fairly heavy (but not hot) nearly opaque black velvet cape. The hood is big enough to drape around the collarbones when up - and I'd be able to wear an over-the-head mask under it without it being stretched tight. The length is good - I'm 5'5" and it just barely drags on the floor around me, which is what I wanted. The ties are nice, they are made of the same velvet as the cape, finished into tube shapes with closed seams - no rough-cut edges. Would buy again.

Everything is perfect! The quality, the length, the color! I got the burgundy cape with black lining to go with my Mary Sanderson costume and I love it! I’m 5’10” and the xxl is long enough to drag on the ground behind me like a train which is what I wanted.

This Burgundy cloak has the matching velour tie strings, ( meaning they are not ribbon), which is the kind I wanted. The cloak lays nice on the shoulders and hangs nice. The hood sits nice on the head but is flimsy around the edge, no stiffness or any type of trim to support it. Altogether the cloak looks nice and is not see-through, so I am good with it.
