I purchased these for a trip to Italy. Amazing pants! Amazing pants! They are soft comfortable and stretch. They are not too slim and not too baggy. The zippered pockets are wonderful for deterring pickpockets. They are just the right weight 3 season pants. You can wear them hiking, but you can also wear them out for a nice casual dinner. If you get caught in the rain, they dry very quickly and are very comfortable when wet. I washed a pair in my hotel room and they were dry the next day. Amazing pants! ... show more

These pants fit pretty well. They have a very normal fit with straight legs that are not binding like those hipster pants. I wear a knee brace underneath them and you can barely see it. I am a service technician so I am up and down a lot. Plus I drive a lot. These pants are lightweight and stretchy so they're never binding. There is a pocket on the side leg so I don't have to put my wallet in my back pocket which makes it much more comfortable for driving. They seem kind of thin so I wasn't sure if they would last. The first couple pairs I bought I wore for a year and still haven't worn out the knees or the butt. They're light enough so they are not too hot in the summer time but block the wind enough so they're not terribly cold in the winter either. I don't think these pants would be able to handle crawling around on rough concrete but then again not many pants do. One bonus is that they look good for meetings or the golf course as well. ... show more

My initial assessment is that these are very nice ... with one complaint below. Well made, I like the fabric. Lightweight and not bulky compared to packing blue jeans. I got these for trave and I look forward to using them. I'm happy. My complaint is that the leg pocket is not deep enough for larger phones. The fronts are deep enough, albeit not zippered like the rears and leg pockets. FWIW, I saw one online review of these commenting that the leg length was a bit long. I do not find that the case with my pair. Mine are advertised as 32" length, and they measure 30 3/4" down the leg seam. That explains why, when trying them on, I thought they could use a bit more length. Note that I like a little break on the shoe rather than too short. ... show more
