The leggings don't have the fleece interior that the top does, so they aren't quite as warm as I'd hoped. In 18F weather, I wore these leggings, a layer of thermal underwear, and a pair of UA sweatpants, and was pretty comfortable. I'm still looking for a more heavily insulated top layer that can let me skip the midlayer; thinking about snowboarding pants or something like that.

Under Armour 3.0 Base are a high quality product for Winter use. Yes, they are more $$ than other brands, but these perform as expected and will last a long time. I bought XL to wear over padded bike shorts for Winter rides. They are good for 40 degree rides with good warmth and wicking. I could not find 4.0 Base which would have been for temps into 30’s. You can obviously wear another layer over these but might not need to. They are a relatively tight fit (6’ - 225 lbs.) but exactly what I expected. Material is relatively thick and stretchy. The length is good, does not ride up, with good ankle grips. I highly recommend.

By UA's charts, I should be a medium, but I needed a large. It shrunk slightly after the first wash, so that was a good call. The lower legs were just too tight and these run short. The material is thicker than typical tights and it doesn't stretch well, so size up. Material is a bit rough but it doesn't bother me. While these are no doubt quality, the price is unjustifiable. You can buy Made-in-the-USA tailor-fit custom tights by specialty companies at this price.

After trying to save money on other brands derided to order these as I work outdoors in the chilly weather. Could not ask for anything more. Kept me warm in 30 degree weather and the compression on these are great. These are the 3.0 and I bet the 4.0 are even warmer. Under Armor cost more but you get a lot more for the money.
