Haven't put any real miles on these, but half the battle with any kind of footwear is finding something that fits well and feels comfortable out of the box, and these UA boots fit that requirement. They seem to be truly sized (US SZ 10 D for me), appear to be well-constructed, and are comfortable out of the box. The soles are very comfortable and have lots of give. If you were so inclined, you could run in these boots. I expect them to hold up a better than an athletic shoe by virtue of the boot construction being a bit more robust, and the sole is probably a bit more durable than an athletic shoe as well. Personally, I like boots for daily use because they handle abuse and dirt better than athletic shoes, and sometimes the extra ankle support is nice. Got this non-waterproof pair, and the identical pair with water proofing. Fit is identical. Only the 'waterproof' tag on the former boot's upper reveals which is which. ... show more

Good Price, Wide Cut is Extremely comfortable, great for work and just about every weather condition. Easy to clean and I've stood in them for 8+ hours. For them to be boots they are very lightweight.
