My husband wore Under Armor Stellar tactical boots for years (at least 7) but now they have changed to this new boot- he said at first they felt great, but it only took 2 weeks for him to start complaining they didn’t fit right, and then they started squeaking- which he says means they are starting to fall apart. Why must companies reinvent and ruin things for long time customers! He was so whiny about finding new boots! Finally got some Bates boots, seems to be happy with them. ... show more

I abuse boots at work. And these are my new favorite. Extremely comfortable even after a 14 hour day. I have put them through a lot in the week I have owned them and they still look new.

My job is labor intensive. Every surface condition is encountered each day for 8-10 hrs. Dry, wet, muddy, clumpy, rocky, grassy, sandy, slippery, uphill and down. These boots are comfortable and light while being leather tough. I wish I'd had these when I was rucking in the military. It took about a week to break them in but with minimal discomfort. The tops are a little stiff at first but I lace my boots tight to navigate the aforementioned and protect a weak ankle. No fault of the boot but I failed to realize just how much the leather would stretch. In my case I typically wear a 10 so that's what I ordered. When I purchase these again and I will, I'll get a 9.5 to account for the stretching. (If you don't demand a lot from your footwear I would order typical sizes) I hope they keep making these boots! ... show more
