They are a bit tight around your foot when you just get them, but after a few wears they loosen up. The fact that you can raise the back part is a plus because it keeps your ankles warm. For starters, I would never call these slippers - they're boots and very nice ones. They're so comfortable. I have arthritis in my feet and was looking for something both warm for winter and cushioning. These have plenty of toe room, nice thick and soft shearling which cushions nicely both under and on top of the feet as well as providing warmth. I don't think you need to size up, even to allow for the thickness of the shearling. The shearling doesn't appear to be flattening, however. ... show more

    • Not just slippers... Can wear them anywhere!

I absolutely love these! I was looking for slippers and thought these were so cute! When I got them I realized I can wear them as if they are boots. I LOVE the top of front with the little ridge. I remember back in the 90's when the tall boots had the ridges. The ridges make the boots slimming rather than how they look now. For me, they are true to actual size that I wear. A seam? really?? These are UGGs we’re talkin about here. For the price you charge, you have to put a seam right in an obvious spot instead of in the back of the shoe where it would be the most likely spot to put one? And why can’t you make half sizes? The 7 smooshes my toe, while the 8 is so big that it slips up and down making walking awkward. I know they will stretch out, which will make them slip even more, while the size 7 won’t loosen enough to not hurt my toe. How hard could it possibly be to make half sizes. You are excluding a large portion of the population that would otherwise buy your product. Such a shame. They are SO cute! Other than those 2 things, they are a good quality and really cute slipper boot! ... show more
