Description

Our best-selling men’s style, the Ascot is a perennial favorite. Luxurious wool and water-resistant suede compose this slipper, which has been equipped with a rubber outsole suited for indoor and outdoor wear. Footwear Sizing Guide - Draw a straight line, longer than your foot, on a piece of paper. Place the paper on a flat surface. Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered on the line. If measuring a child's foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to their foot. Place a mark on the line at the tip of the longest toe and at the back of the heel. Repeat steps the for the other foot. Measure the distance between the marks. Taking the larger of the two measurements, use the conversion chart to find your correct shoe size.

  • Creature Comforts for your feet! Plus, sizing mystery solved by UGG Retail Store Manager...
Size: 9 Color: Espresso
These slippers are the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned! Since many customers seem to be confused as to which size they should order, here's a bit of advice for you: I live close to the Union Square Shopping District here in San Francisco. I walked over to the Downtown SF UGG Store and tried on the Ascot Slipper with Store Manager assistance. My foot measures EXACTLY size 9 D (M), so I tried on both a size 9 D (M) and a size 10 D (M). I can see why many customers are saying to buy one size up because the abundant amount of UGG PURE wool made my true size 9 D (M) feel quite snug. I noticed that the size 10 D (M) felt like it fit better at first, but after walking around the store (with regular cotton socks on) I noticed that the heal started to slip just a bit. The Store Manager said the vast majority of the UGG Ascot Slippers she sells feel tight at first, but "break in" to feel quite normal after several days of wear. To avoid excessive returns, she ALWAYS tells her customers to order their exact street shoe size, NOT one size up. So, I decided to purchase the size 9 D (M) from Amazon.com and I'm SO GLAD I didn't order the larger size! I plan on wearing my slippers with no socks, and it's important to know that I have normal (to slightly narrow) width feet. If you plan on wearing thick socks, or have wider than normal feet then you might consider ordering a size up, since half sizes aren't available (or possibly a wider size if you have wider than normal feet). Everyone's feet are unique, so you will have to decide if it makes sense to go up a size as several customers have suggested. I'm glad I didn't order a size up though, because my heal would be slipping by now if I had. I hope this sizing information helps! Give yourself the gift of comfort with these awesome slippers, they are well made, toasty warm and great for wearing around the house on chilly days. ... show more

  • So warm!!
The biggest question I had after reading all the other reviews was, should I err on the small side or the large side. I chose to get the slippers in my actual shoe size and trust that they would stretch to fit my feet in a week or two. I'd decided this because my last pair of slippers, also leather with wool interior, had eventually stretched so much that they were floppy. Even still, I had worn them for more than twenty years until they were practically falling off my feet. When my new UGGs arrived, they were exactly how I imagined, beautifully colored and plush with wool. I tried them on and, yup, they were tight. For the first couple of nights they were so tight that I could only wear them for an hour or so before they started to hurt my feet. So, I made a point of wearing them every morning and evening for a half hour to an hour at a time with the expectation that they would, eventually, stretch to fit me. After about a week, they were almost perfect. After 3 weeks, they're so comfortable that I often forget I'm wearing them. A couple of times I've started to walk out the door with them still on my feet before my wife reminded me that I'm still wearing my slippers. I don't know how it would be if I'd gone for a size larger but, as things are, I'm really glad I got the size I did. A man's slippers are deeply personal. They eventually become like old friends that you're glad to see after a long day's work. I expect many happy years with this pair. ... show more

  • You Pay for the Name
I've been dying to get these forever but I have a big foot and they don't always have them in my size. I finally got them in my size and I was pleasantly surprised that they fit quite well. Upon closer inspection of the tags in the slippers, the inner lining is made of synthetic material. When I think about UGGS, I think of Australian shearling sheepskin. I realize that they moved their production years ago to China but I still expect the product to made of sheepskin. It's not. You're paying for the name, that's all. ... show more

  • Quality and comfort, worth the extra money!
Size: 11 Color: Discontinued Espresso
These are super comfortable and have kept my feet completely warm this winter. The tread on the bottom is nice because I'm able to run trash outside without having to switch shoes, as well as help keep traction on my wood and tile flooring. These are top quality shoes and worth the money. I wear a size 10.5 US and ordered an 11 because they said the sizing runs a little small. They were a little tight when I got them but have broken them in over the last two months and they fit perfectly now. If you're going to wear these WITH socks, I recommend ordering a full size larger than your normal shoe size. ... show more

  • Wear and tear?
My husband has been asking for these for a long time and I couldn't bring myself to buy them as they are just house shoes, and pricey. However this year I wanted to get them for him and ordered them early just in case they didn't fit. He tried them on and they fit okay, a little snug so we returned and ordered a size up. The new size fit better however the bottom sole of the shoes is very narrow and I don't see how these will hold up with around the house wear. Obviously they are "house shoes" but like normal people he intended to wear them outside as well. I can see how the sides of the big and small toe would wear down and not have a solid piece on the bottom to keep it from deteriorating. For this reason we decided to return the shoes and order a different style/brand. ... show more

  • Very warm and comfy!!
What I dislike about these slippers is the thickness of the heel. The heel is maybe ⅜ of an inch high and I'm pretty flat-footed, so it causes me a little discomfort on my ankles and knees, but only if I'm walking around in them all day. What I like about these slippers is literally everything else!! Knee problems aside these slippers are insanely warm. It feels like my feet are wrapped in warm plush. They're soft and they fit puurrrfectly. I had to exchange once. The first pair I ordered were too small and narrow. I recommend ordering a size bigger than your normal shoe size and also recommend the wide toe for a little wiggle room. These slippers are made really well, and I can see them lasting me a long time. Much better than the cheapo slippers I usually get that last me 3 months. Very happy with this buy!! ... show more
