Used these to replace the thumb throttle on a TaoTao 110 and TaoTao 125 ATVs. My kids kept complaining their thumbs would get tired during longer trail rides. My 11year old on the 125 took a bit to get used to the change however I was amazed how quickly his comfort level and competency increased while riding the ATV. He quickly was drifting around dirt turns, never did that with thumb throttle. It was really impressive to see how much more confident he was riding. Installation was pretty straight forward. A quick mod to the twist throttle and I was able to use the existing throttle cables. email me at cino_at_cableone_dot_net and I can elaborate on it. The TaoTao 110, my younger son is still trying to get used to it. As with any twist throttle when a rider gets scared their grip tightens, if they start to tilt backward the throttle will open up since they have a death grip on the throttle, from there it's just a bad series of events. I keep the remote kill switch controller handy as a few times he's taken off uncontrollably. I'm considering putting the thumb throttle back on, still debating tho. See how a couple more rides go before I make my final decision. Took me about 10 minutes to swap out the thumb throttle for these per ATV, again, not the most complicated of things. The grips are nice. The inner throttle parts are plastic, I wouldn't expect to use this on serious off road vehicles but the TaoTaos it fits very nicely. ... show more
