Added benefit is the exfoliating action of using this. As for the ease of use, it is slim enough to be held like a pencil in the fingers, or it can be gripped overhand like a knife. The blades are very sharp, so a very light touch is all that is needed. Speaking of blades, there are refills included. For safety of carrying and storage, a sheath is included to cover the blade while it is on the handle.
