This is a very pretty sparkly ring, however the metal band is not flat, it is pointy so is uncomfortable between the fingers (it's hard to explain...). It's like the band is v-shaped. So sadly back it goes. Also the sizing is not easy to figure out (and is not the same as in a jewelry store either; I'd say it runs smaller). So I am returning it. Update 8 weeks later. Per website refund is "in process". According to UPS the package was delivered 8 weeks ago. After talking to Amazon customer service (very helpful, very efficient) they inform me the seller claims the box arrived empty.... ?? Minus points to the seller for not contacting me (I have reduced the stars in this review because of that). Doing nothing is not customer service. I have filed an incident report with Amazon and will update here as necessary.

It's a nice simple design of a solitaire setting and decent sized moissanite stone. Tests like a diamond on a diamond tester so it's a genuine moissonite and not a crystal or cubic zirconia. At the time of review the ring was listing for $99.99 which isn't bad for the size of the moissanite and the clarity and craftsmanship of the ring. It's not a diamond but it sparkles more and is almost as durable. Personally I've been a fan of moissanites because they have a sparkle that gives more of a prismatic effect than diamonds so there is more color to the sparkle which is hard to capture in a photo but I tried. They may not have the prestige of diamonds or the high cost, but you might not tear apart a sink if it falls down the drain or ruin your vacation if you lose the ring.
