First off, we know it’s not a real diamond but who can tell nowadays. This 3 carrot ring is quite impressive- lacks a high end clarity but again, who would know. Looks and feels authentic and I believe it is a super special ring for the couple that needs to save their money for more important things in a marriage- or a couple that feels the ring is a symbol of the relationship and this would work too! Wow, this purchase was a surprise. On a whim I ordered it the other day based on the description, "MOISSANITE: Turandoss Moissanite diamond is a Lab Grown gemstone, after carefully selected, to ensure all moissanite D color VVS1 clarity, with the same optical and physical properties of South African diamonds. The diamond fire is more than 2.5 times that of South African diamonds. All MOISSANITE 100% EASY PASS THE DIAMOND TESTER to the highest point." This description alone sealed the decision making for me. Given it is so expensive, compared to billion year grown diamonds, I decided to go big and ordered the 3 carat one. My husband and I have been so overwhelmed by how brilliant and vibrant it is, it sparkles constantly under a variety of lighting (at the stables/dim lit, outdoors in direct sun at a baseball game, driving in the car, in the shower,....everywhere I go. I remember the day my husband proposed, I starred constantly at my ring just to watch the prisms of color on full display. This is the first time in 20 years I felt the same way about something that was not taken from the ground or cost $$,$$$. Weighted with the cost of a family splurging on anything gorgeously expensive it not an option....or so I thought. I follow various jewelers on Instagram who create and sell Moissanite and have been so interested to learn how inexpensive they are - granted they are still offered in the $5-10k range. But this one was $99 and I just had to know how whether it was all it promised. I am so happy I gave it a try. I wear it with my eternity diamond wedding band and it is a perfect combination. I guess I have to get my story straight as friends start asking if it is a 20 yr anniversary gift and "how" my husband afforded it, ha! What a steal. Please bring out other shapes, sizes and colors - what fun to have this option to have fun, gorgeous, quality and inexpensive fashion! LOVE LOVE LOVE ... show more
