I'm 5'3" 165-170#. I ordered the XL Short. Petites never fit me correctly because I have an average body with short legs. I need pants to go with an embroidered jacket to wear to a 50th USAF Academy reunion. This fit perfectly! The drape is perfect, the fabric is quality! They look like I spent about $200. I showed them to my husband with the jacket and he loved it too. I was thinking of wearing a cigarette pant but these look very chic! I received them this am, and after trying them on, i got online and ordered 2 more colors! They zip up the front and close with a quality hook. With my waist I usually look for elastic but it is not necessary with these. In most pants I wear a large, or a 14, in this case an XL was perfect. The length is also spot on. I have a 27" inseam and they come to the sweet spot. I can wear a heel but I don't need too. If you are any shorter you may need to shorten them. Standing barefoot, they do not touch the floor or completely cover my foot, as I said, perfect. The fabric is not sheer. The white could be but the black is not. There are pockets, belt loops and stretch across the back, however none of that shows! If you wanted to wear a beautiful belt that would also work. I couldn't be happier!!

For Women Veterans' Day I was looking to recreate a vintage 1940s military inspired outfit, which is difficult to do when you are short and plus sized, unless you want to sew it yourself. These pants came up as a suggestion for a swing-style option and fit the bill perfectly. The waist size was perfect and comfortable. I do recommend a belt if you carry heavier items in your pockets. Unfortunately, the olive green (a really close color to OD Green, IYKYK) was not available in XL Short, so I did have to hem them. The fabric isn't thin but isn't thick and very swishy with a soft silky texture. If you're texture sensitive, you may like these. They also handled the heat without wrinkling. Tomato sauce ended up being transferred onto a leg, but it washed off easily without leaving any residue nor stains. I have plans to purchase these in other colors, I just wish more options were available for short curvy hotties. Update: I bought the red in XL Short and it was a perfect fit for my 5'2" 170 lbs frame. The color is VIBRANT! and I am obsessed. I now want these in every color.

I am 5’ tall and I purchased a M short pair. I was happy to find these pants in a petite (short) style, after looking for palazzo pants at many department stores and finding them all about 5” too long. These are the perfect length. However, I found that there was way more bulk in the pants than I wanted/needed around the middle. I solved this problem by sewing down the pleats from the waist for about 6”. Now they fit perfectly. So if you don’t need the extra roominess, this is an easy fix. Otherwise I’m very satisfied with the pants.

I love these pants. I've had these for over 3 years and am back to get another color. The cut is flattering, and the material is lightweight and breathable. They're also pretty versatile to style; I wear them to work, date night, dinner, and really wherever makes sense. Again, we are 3 years in and these are still a first string pick for what I'm wearing to work after laundry day. Gentle cycle, hang dry and we're ready to go. No need for dry cleaning or ironing. The size Amazon is recommending for me this time is not the size I originally bought, so we'll see whether the fit has changed.

Super cute pair of pants. Although the sizing could be shorter for people who don’t have legs that are 27 inches long. Which seems to be the only size length wise that they have. For me it drags if I’m not wearing platform shoes which is a bummer and causes more damage. Although material is super breathable.

Yes the fabric is on the thin side but I've bought and worn five colors of these pants to work and they look and fit perfectly especially for petites!!! If you're petite get the "short" version. They last for years! Just now replacing a pair in camel brown after three years of wear! They are by far my favorite pants to wear as a business professional.

I have these exact pants in black, navy, olive, chocolate, khaki, and the multi-check pattern, all of which are an XL and fit me perfectly. I got the blue-grey pair in the same size, and they are massive on me. Like a belt couldn't even save it massive. I love the pants so I'm going to return them for a different size, but keep in mind that sizing is different on some colors.
