It was so close to fitting, but just off! And even if it did fit, the leg wholes did seem to right for my baby. We just went with a leather strap for our Tripp trapp. Itโ€™s not as secure, but it will do for the time being.

Unless Iโ€™m mistaken, the straps are not removable. I wish they were, to make them easier to clean. Other than that, very happy with it.

This is the beSt high chair I have found. My small daughter (30th percentile) was so low at the table in my other two wooden chairs and also the straps would not work for her on those; this chair is not only super adjustable allowing her to be at the correct height to be able to see her food and feel like she is up with us, but the best thing Is the harness which is 5 points but does not hold the baby back against the chair bc the strap attaches to the chair near their lower back so baby can reach forward and move around while safely secured in the chair. It is seriously phenomenal compared to what I was dealing with. It will also accommodate a much larger baby it seems as the harness straps Are very adjustable as well. Thank you stokke. ... show more

    • Works for ALL Tripp Trapps
Okay here is the scoop. There are two types of Tripp Trapp Chairs. 1. The original (made around 1972) 2. The classic made after 2008. The only difference between the two is the way the harness attaches to the bottom (seat). When I first ordered the baby set I had no idea there was a difference. I had purchased my tripp trapp on a yard sale and was excited to have a high chair that was not an eyesore. After the baby set came, I was really confused why the baby set did not fit perfectly. I then found out I had the older version of the Tripp Trapp. Not to worry! All you need to do is remove the plastic connector (where the harness connects to the seat). Don't cut the harness! Once the plastic connector is removed, the baby set will snap right in. It does take the 5 point harness down to a 3 point harness, but unless you have a monster or want to carry your kid with the high chair on the roof of your car, I think the 3 point harness is just fine (the 3 point harness still goes over the shoulder and around the waist). ... show more

    • One Star Reviewers Just Didn't Set the Seat Correctly
There are lots of very positive and very negative reviews for this product. Just to make it simple. If you set the Tripp Trapp seat correctly (only 1 1/2 to 2 inches out from the frame - for 6 to 8 month old), Then baby will go in and out with absolutely no problem. If you set the seat out further..... You will be giving out No Stars, even though you are the problem. Its just that the setting of 2 inches seems very short - until you actually put your baby into the Baby Set. Then you see that it works perfectly. The current Tripp Trapp and the Baby Set instuctions are very clear on this. In fact the Seat unit gives you a guide on how to change all these settings as the baby grows. Perhaps older instruction packets were not so clear. But there is no excuse to get this wrong if you read the instructions I recieved today, both with the chair and the Baby Set.. Putting the Tripp Trapp and the Baby Set together is similar to an IKEA product. You are basically following a universal step by step diagram. Follow each step exactly and you will have a great chair and a great Baby Seat in a half/hour or less. ... show more

    • Nice product but the colors are off

This is a great product for the Stokke tripp trapp chair. My only complaint is that the colors of the baby sets online don't match what you actually get at all. I ordered the Storm Gray color thinking it was a dark gray/blue and it was instead a light gray and didn't match our chair at all. I then ordered the forest green color and it too was a very light green, not at all what I wanted. It will do, but just beware the color you think you are getting will not match up. I also sent the gray one back well over a week ago and still have not received any refund. A little concerning. Hopefully I will get it soon? ... show more
