I bought this specifically to use on my face at night after damaging my skin barrier from overdoing active skincare products. Even though it’s technically a diaper rash cream, it ended up working surprisingly well as an overnight barrier cream for dry, irritated skin. The texture is very thick and rich, so I only use a small amount as the last step in my nighttime routine. It creates a protective layer that helps lock in moisture overnight, and by morning my skin usually feels calmer, softer, and less tight. I noticed it helped a lot with flaky areas around my cheeks and nose. I also like that it doesn’t have a heavy fragrance or that burning feeling some skincare products can cause when your skin is already irritated. It does leave a greasy finish, but since I only use it before bed, that doesn’t really bother me. The tube is on the smaller side, but because the formula is so thick, a little goes a long way. I wouldn’t personally use this during the day or under makeup, but for nighttime skin barrier support it’s been really helpful.

Nobody fully prepares you for the sheer frequency of newborn poop! My little one is just two weeks old, and it feels like we're changing diapers constantly, around the clock. As a pharmacist, my first thought seeing those endless dirty diapers was "oh no, the inevitable horrible diaper rash is coming." You see the worst cases and just want to prevent it at all costs for your own baby. I'd heard good things about Triple Paste, often recommended by pediatricians, so I decided to give it a try right from the start. I have been so impressed and relieved. This cream is thick – like, properly thick – but that's exactly what you want. It creates a really durable barrier between his delicate skin and all that moisture and irritation. Even with what feels like non-stop pooping, his skin has stayed clear. On the one occasion where I saw a tiny bit of redness starting (probably because I wasn't quick enough with a change!), applying this cleared it right up by the next diaper change. It seems to really soothe the skin quickly, which might be thanks to the botanicals they include along with the heavy dose of zinc oxide. Knowing it's hypoallergenic gives extra peace of mind for brand new, sensitive skin. Honestly, while no one enjoys constant diaper duty, this cream has taken away the extra worry about dealing with painful rashes on top of everything else. It truly helps prevent the rash, even in these extreme newborn conditions, and treats any little spots that might try to sneak through. Definitely keeping this on hand – it works.

My baby had her first rash after 1 years old. I was freaking out because all of my baby’s doctors suggested to only use Aquaphor. But what do you do after Aquaphor stops working? I’ve tried so many brands and nothing was helping! It broke my heart to see my baby in pain. After trying Triple Paste, I TOTALLY GET IT!! After 2 days the rash completely went away! My baby is almost 2 now and this is the only brand we’ve stuck to. 2 days & poof! Baby rash be gone! When baby sleeps 10-12 hours at night, on our 6-8 hour roadtrips to Disneyland, or our Disneyland or Universal Studio visits, this has been such a staple! I keep one in the car, my baby bag, each grandparent’s house, and in each purse! I love using products that give you instant results!

Used this during a stretch of nights when irritation kept showing up despite frequent changes, and it was getting hard to keep things calm before bedtime. I applied it after the evening routine and again right before sleep as a preventative layer. By the next morning, things looked noticeably calmer, even after a full overnight stretch. It had a thick consistency that stayed in place instead of rubbing off quickly, which mattered because overnight movement tends to break down lighter creams. During the day, it also helped reduce repeat flare-ups when used consistently after changes. One downside is the texture is heavy and takes a bit longer to spread evenly compared to thinner lotions, so you have to be deliberate when applying it. Overall, it made overnight routines more predictable and less reactive.
