This wallet is as described in the advertisement. The leather is soft and of good quality. The chain is steel and the craftsmanship is evident. I purchased this as a gift for a man who has had the same wallet for a few decades and that is completely worn out. This gift made him smile! He's been offered many others and he's turned them all down; this is the first one he accepted (it is an exact replica of his old faithful). THE perfect replacement. I liked the draw string bag that it was shipped in. A very nice touch.

The leather loop strap that is supposed to snap closed and attach your wallet to your belt is too small for the average causal leather belt. The belt in the picture is only 1 3/4" wide and the loop strap does not fit.

Ordered this for my teenage son, who is finally learning how to hang onto his money long enough to need a wallet! He asked for a chain wallet and this fit the bill. It’s true what other reviewers have stated that it’s on the small side. His money does fit snugly inside, so it’s probably for the best he doesn’t have a whole lot of it at any given time. And as also stated by others, the belt clip is small as well and so he connects it to a belt loop. It seems to work just fine as long as the chain doesn’t get caught on anything and rip the belt loop right off his jeans. The craftsmanship is the crowning achievement of this wallet though. It’s really beautifully made, and the leather is soft to the touch, yet it feels like it won’t lose its shape very easily. Quite durable I believe. I gave it 5 stars despite it’s small stature because my son is a small guy anyways and so it fits him nicely.
